Hot Tub Trade-In & Removal
Your old hot tub out, your new one in, on the same visit
You can trade in your old hot tub toward a new Arctic Spa at our Kitchener, London and Windsor showrooms, including tubs from other brands. If you are replacing a tub, our delivery team can remove the old one when the new one arrives.
How a trade-in works
Tell your showroom what you have: the brand, model, rough size and number of pumps, and its condition. They will tell you what it is worth toward a new hot tub or swim spa. Trade-ins are not limited to Arctic Spas.
Traded-in Arctic Spas that are worth keeping are reconditioned rather than scrapped. They are built to be opened up and inspected, so reconditioning is often as simple as testing every component.
Having your old hot tub removed
When you order, we send a short Site Check form. If our delivery team is removing your old tub, it asks for the details they need to plan the lift:
- Brand, model and number of pumps (a guess is fine — it helps estimate the weight)
- Length, width and height
- Where the electrical wire enters the tub: through the side or the floor
- Whether it is leaking or shows signs of rotting
Two things have to be done before removal day:
- Drain it completely. The tub must be fully drained before pickup.
- Have the wire disconnected. An electrician must disconnect the electrical wire before we can remove the tub.

We also sell reconditioned Arctic Spas. Each one is inspected and reconditioned, and comes with a warranty. Availability changes as trade-ins come in, so ask your showroom what is on hand.
If you are buying a used hot tub anywhere, see it filled and running first. A tub that is empty and switched off can hide problems.

Can you remove my old hot tub when you deliver the new one?
Yes. Our delivery team can remove your old tub at delivery. It must be fully drained, and an electrician must disconnect the electrical wire beforehand.
Do your used hot tubs come with a warranty?
Yes. Reconditioned Arctic Spas are inspected, reconditioned and sold with a warranty. Ask your showroom for the terms on the tub you are looking at.
